Volunteer and Social service

The IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals. Include:

People who generally make $64,000 or less
Persons with disabilities; and
Limited English-speaking taxpayers

In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) is a program that helps low-income individuals who are blind, disabled, or 65 or older pay for in-home services so they can remain safely in their homes.
